(89:9) And [with] Thamud, who carved out the rocks in the valley?

Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan,

(89:9) And (with) Thamud (people), who cut (hewed) out rocks in the valley (to make dwellings)?

(89:9) And with (the tribe of) Thamud, who clove the rocks in the valley;
