Sahih International

(21:95) And there is prohibition upon [the people of] a city which We have destroyed that they will [ever] return

Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan,

(21:95) And a ban is laid on every town (population) which We have destroyed that they shall not return (to this world again, nor repent to Us).

Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall

Ali Unal

(21:95) It is inconceivable that a community, the destruction of which We have decreed (because of their unbelief and irremediable sins), could return to faith, (nor a community which We destroyed should not come back to Us and then be returned to the world again so that they could believe and do good deeds).

Amatul Rahman Omar

(21:95) And it is not permissible to (the people of) a township whom We have destroyed to come back (to life of this world).

Literal

(21:95) And forbidden on a village/urban city We made it die/destroyed it , that they do not return.

Ahmed Ali

Abdul Majid Daryabadi

(21:95) And a ban is laid on every town which We have destroyed, that they Shall not return.

(21:95) So whoever does good deeds and is a believer, there is no rejection of his effort, and We surely write (it) down for him.

Muhammad Sarwar

(21:95) The people whom We destroyed can never return to this world

Hamid Abdul Aziz

(21:95) And he who acts right and he who is a believer (or has faith), there is no denial of his efforts, for, verily, We record it for him.

Faridul Haque
