كَذَٰلِكَ وَقَدْ أَحَطْنَا بِمَا لَدَيْهِ خُبْرًا

Quran surah Al kahf 91 in english translation

Sahih International

(18:91) Thus. And We had encompassed [all] that he had in knowledge.

Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan,

(18:91) So (it was)! And We knew all about him (Dhul-Qarnain).

Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall

(18:91) So (it was). And We knew all concerning him.

Abdullah Yusuf Ali

(18:91) (He left them) as they were: We completely understood what was before him.

Mohammad Habib Shakir

(18:91) Even so! and We had a full knowledge of what he had.

Dr. Ghali

(18:91) Thus it was, and We already encompassed in cognizance what was close to him.

(18:91) So it was (such was their state and the extent of Dhu’l-Qarnayn’s power). We assuredly encompassed all concerning him in Our Knowledge.

(18:91) That is how (it was). As for him, We alone had full knowledge of all that he had with him.

(18:91) Like that, and We had comprehended/enveloped with what (is) at/near him (with) knowledge .
