ثُمَّ كَانَ عَلَقَةً فَخَلَقَ فَسَوَّىٰ

Quran surah Al Qiyamah 38 in english translation

Sahih International

(75:38) Then he was a clinging clot, and [Allah] created [his form] and proportioned [him]

Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan,

(75:38) Then he became an 'Alaqa (a clot); then (Allah) shaped and fashioned (him) in due proportion.

Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall

(75:38) Then he became a clot; then (Allah) shaped and fashioned

(75:38) Then did he become a leech-like clot; then did (Allah) make and fashion (him) in due proportion.
