وَكَذَٰلِكَ حَقَّتْ كَلِمَتُ رَبِّكَ عَلَى الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا أَنَّهُمْ أَصْحَابُ النَّارِ

Quran surah Ghafir 6 in english translation

Sahih International

(40:6) And thus has the word of your Lord come into effect upon those who disbelieved that they are companions of the Fire.

Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan,

(40:6) Thus has the Word of your Lord been justified against those who disbelieved, that they will be the dwellers of the Fire.

Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall

(40:6) Thus was the word of thy Lord concerning those who disbelieve fulfilled: That they are owners of the Fire.

Abdullah Yusuf Ali

(40:6) Thus was the Decree of thy Lord proved true against the Unbelievers; that truly they are Companions of the Fire!

Mohammad Habib Shakir

(40:6) And thus did the word of your Lord prove true against those who disbelieved that they are the inmates of the fire.

(40:6) And thus the Word of your Lord has come true against the ones who disbelieved that they are the companions (i.e; inhabitants) of the Fire.
