قَالَ يَا أَيُّهَا الْمَلَأُ أَيُّكُمْ يَأْتِينِي بِعَرْشِهَا قَبْلَ أَنْ يَأْتُونِي مُسْلِمِينَ

Sahih International

(27:38) [Solomon] said, "O assembly [of jinn], which of you will bring me her throne before they come to me in submission?"

Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan,

(27:38) He said: "O chiefs! Which of you can bring me her throne before they come to me surrendering themselves in obedience?"

Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall

(27:38) He said: O chiefs! Which of you will bring me her throne before they come unto me, surrendering?

Abdullah Yusuf Ali

(27:38) He said (to his own men): "Ye chiefs! which of you can bring me her throne before they come to me in submission?"

Mohammad Habib Shakir

(27:38) He said: O chiefs! which of you can bring to me her throne before they come to me in submission?

Dr. Ghali

(27:38) He said, "O you chiefs, whichever one of you will come up to me with (i.e; bring) her throne before they come up to me as Muslims?" (Or: in surrender).
