وَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّنِ افْتَرَىٰ عَلَى اللَّهِ الْكَذِبَ وَهُوَ يُدْعَىٰ إِلَى الْإِسْلَامِ ۚ وَاللَّهُ لَا يَهْدِي الْقَوْمَ الظَّالِمِينَ

Quran surah As Shaff 7 in english translation

Sahih International

(61:7) And who is more unjust than one who invents about Allah untruth while he is being invited to Islam. And Allah does not guide the wrongdoing people.

Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan,

(61:7) And who does more wrong than the one who invents a lie against Allah, while he is being invited to Islam? And Allah guides not the people who are Zalimun (polytheists, wrong-doers and disbelievers) folk.

Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall

(61:7) And who doeth greater wrong than he who inventeth a lie against Allah when he is summoned unto Al-Islam? And Allah guideth not wrongdoing folk.

Abdullah Yusuf Ali

(61:7) Who doth greater wrong than one who invents falsehood against Allah, even as he is being invited to Islam? And Allah guides not those who do wrong.

Mohammad Habib Shakir

(61:7) And who is more unjust than he who forges a lie against Allah and he is invited to Islam, and Allah does not guide the unjust people.

Dr. Ghali

(61:7) And who is more unjust than he who fabricates against Allah lies, when (Literally: and) he is being called to Islam? And Allah does not guide the unjust people.

Ali Unal

(61:7) Who is more in wrong than him who fabricates falsehood in attribution to God, when he is being invited to Islam (which is what the promised Messenger is conveying to them?) God surely does not guide the wrongdoing people.

(61:7) But who is more unjust than he (who believes in the trinity of God), who forges a lie in the name of Allâh (by calling Jesus the son of God), while he is called (to join the fold of Islam). And Allâh guides no unjust people to the ways of success.

Literal

(61:7) And who (is) more unjust/oppressive than who fabricated/cut and split the lies/falsehood , and He is being called to the Islam/submission/surrender to God? And God does not guide the nation, the unjust/oppressive.

(61:7) Who is more unjust than he who invents a lie against God when he is called to submit? God does not show the evil-doers the way.

(61:7) And who does greater evil than he who forges against God falsehood, when he is being called unto surrender? And God guides never the people of the evildoers.

(61:7) And who is a greater wrong-doer than he who fabricateth against Allah a lie even as he is summoned Unto Islam? And Allah guideth not a wrongdoing people.

(61:7) And who does greater evil than he who forges a lie against Allah, when he is being called to Islam? Allah does not guide the harmdoing people.
