فَأَذَاقَهُمُ اللَّهُ الْخِزْيَ فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا ۖ وَلَعَذَابُ الْآخِرَةِ أَكْبَرُ ۚ لَوْ كَانُوا يَعْلَمُونَ

Sahih International

(39:26) So Allah made them taste disgrace in worldly life. But the punishment of the Hereafter is greater, if they only knew.

Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan,

(39:26) So Allah made them to taste the disgrace in the present life, but greater is the torment of the Hereafter if they only knew!

Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall

(39:26) Thus Allah made them taste humiliation in the life of the world, and verily the doom of the Hereafter will be greater if they did but know.

Abdullah Yusuf Ali

(39:26) So Allah gave them a taste of humiliation in the present life, but greater is the punishment of the Hereafter, if they only knew!
