ذَٰلِكُمْ وَأَنَّ اللَّهَ مُوهِنُ كَيْدِ الْكَافِرِينَ

Quran surah Al Anfal 18 in english translation

Sahih International

(8:18) That [is so], and [also] that Allah will weaken the plot of the disbelievers.

Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan,

(8:18) This (is the fact) and surely, Allah weakens the deceitful plots of the disbelievers.

Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall

(8:18) That (is the case); and (know) that Allah (it is) Who maketh weak the plan of disbelievers.

Abdullah Yusuf Ali

(8:18) That, and also because Allah is He Who makes feeble the plans and stratagem of the Unbelievers.

Mohammad Habib Shakir

(8:18) This, and that Allah is the weakener of the struggle of the unbelievers.

(8:18) That (The Arabic pronoun is in the plural form) is for you; and (know) that Allah is enfeebling the plotting of the disbelievers.
