أَمْ تَحْسَبُ أَنَّ أَكْثَرَهُمْ يَسْمَعُونَ أَوْ يَعْقِلُونَ ۚ إِنْ هُمْ إِلَّا كَالْأَنْعَامِ ۖ بَلْ هُمْ أَضَلُّ سَبِيلًا

Sahih International

(25:44) Or do you think that most of them hear or reason? They are not except like livestock. Rather, they are [even] more astray in [their] way.

Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan,

(25:44) Or do you think that most of them hear or understand? They are only like cattle; nay, they are even farther astray from the Path. (i.e. even worst than cattle).

Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall

(25:44) Or deemest thou that most of them hear or understand? They are but as the cattle - nay, but they are farther astray?

Abdullah Yusuf Ali

(25:44) Or thinkest thou that most of them listen or understand? They are only like cattle;- nay, they are worse astray in Path.

Mohammad Habib Shakir

(25:44) Or do you think that most of them do hear or understand? They are nothing but as cattle; nay, they are straying farther off from the path.

(25:44) Or even do you reckon that most of them hear or consider? Decidedly they are (nothing) except as the cattle. (Ancam inclues cattle, camels, sheep and goats) No indeed, they have erred further from the way.
