وَإِذَا سَمِعُوا مَا أُنْزِلَ إِلَى الرَّسُولِ تَرَىٰ أَعْيُنَهُمْ تَفِيضُ مِنَ الدَّمْعِ مِمَّا عَرَفُوا مِنَ الْحَقِّ ۖ يَقُولُونَ رَبَّنَا آمَنَّا فَاكْتُبْنَا مَعَ الشَّاهِدِينَ

Sahih International

(5:83) And when they hear what has been revealed to the Messenger, you see their eyes overflowing with tears because of what they have recognized of the truth. They say, "Our Lord, we have believed, so register us among the witnesses.

Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan,

(5:83) And when they (who call themselves Christians) listen to what has been sent down to the Messenger (Muhammad SAW), you see their eyes overflowing with tears because of the truth they have recognised. They say: "Our Lord! We believe; so write us down among the witnesses.

Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall

(5:83) When they listen to that which hath been revealed unto the messengers, thou seest their eyes overflow with tears because of their recognition of the Truth. They say: Our Lord, we believe. Inscribe us as among the witnesses.

Abdullah Yusuf Ali

(5:83) And when they listen to the revelation received by the Messenger, thou wilt see their eyes overflowing with tears, for they recognise the truth: they pray: "Our Lord! we believe; write us down among the witnesses.

(5:83) And when they hear what has been revealed to the apostle you will see their eyes overflowing with tears on account of the truth that they recognize; they say: Our Lord! we believe, so write us down with the witnesses (of truth).

We do believe (in Muhammad and the Qur’an); so inscribe us among the witnesses (of the truth in the company of his community).

(5:83) And when they hear that (Divine Message) which has been revealed to this perfect Messenger you will find their eyes over flow with tears because of the truth they have recognised. They say, `Our Lord! we believe, so count us among the witnesses (to the truth).´

(5:83) And if they heard what was descended to the messenger, you see their eyes flow from the tears from what they knew from the truth , they say: "Our Lord, we believed, so write us with the witnessing/testifying."

(5:83) For when they listen to what has been revealed to this Apostle, you can see their eyes brim over with tears at the truth which they recognise, and say: "O Lord, we believe; put us down among those who bear witness (to the truth).
