وَمَا تُجْزَوْنَ إِلَّا مَا كُنْتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ

Quran surah As Saffat 39 in english translation

Sahih International

(37:39) And you will not be recompensed except for what you used to do -

Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan,

(37:39) And you will be requited nothing except for what you used to do (evil deeds, sins, and Allah's disobedience which you used to do in this world);

Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall

(37:39) Ye are requited naught save what ye did -

Abdullah Yusuf Ali

(37:39) But it will be no more than the retribution of (the Evil) that ye have wrought;-

Mohammad Habib Shakir

(37:39) And you shall not be rewarded except (for) what you did.

Dr. Ghali

(37:39) And in no way will you be recompensed, except according to whatever you were doing.
