(36:16) They said, "Our Lord knows that we are messengers to you,

Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan,

(36:16) The Messengers said: "Our Lord knows that we have been sent as Messengers to you,

(36:16) They answered: Our Lord knoweth that we are indeed sent unto you,
