وَنَزَعْنَا مَا فِي صُدُورِهِمْ مِنْ غِلٍّ إِخْوَانًا عَلَىٰ سُرُرٍ مُتَقَابِلِينَ



Quran surah Al Hijr 47 in english translation


Sahih International


(15:47) And We will remove whatever is in their breasts of resentment, [so they will be] brothers, on thrones facing each other.

Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan,


(15:47) And We shall remove from their breasts any sense of injury (that they may have), (So they will be like) brothers facing each other on thrones.

Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall


(15:47) And We remove whatever rancour may be in their breasts. As brethren, face to face, (they rest) on couches raised.

Abdullah Yusuf Ali


(15:47) And We shall remove from their hearts any lurking sense of injury: (they will be) brothers (joyfully) facing each other on thrones (of dignity).

(15:47) And We will root out whatever of rancor is in their breasts-- (they shall be) as brethren, on raised couches, face to face.
