Sahih International


(70:30) Except from their wives or those their right hands possess, for indeed, they are not to be blamed -

Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan,


(70:30) Except with their wives and the (women slaves and captives) whom their right hands possess, for (then) they are not to be blamed,

Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall


(70:30) Save with their wives and those whom their right hands possess, for thus they are not blameworthy;

Abdullah Yusuf Ali


(70:30) Except with their wives and the (captives) whom their right hands possess,- for (then) they are not to be blamed,

(70:30) Except in the case of their wives or those whom their right hands possess-- for these surely are not to be blamed,
