وَيَقُولُونَ أَئِنَّا لَتَارِكُو آلِهَتِنَا لِشَاعِرٍ مَجْنُونٍ

Sahih International


(37:36) And were saying, "Are we to leave our gods for a mad poet?"

Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan,


(37:36) And (they) said: "Are we going to abandon our aliha (gods) for the sake of a mad poet?

Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall


(37:36) And said: Shall we forsake our gods for a mad poet?

(37:36) And say: "What! shall we give up our gods for the sake of a Poet possessed?"
