وَلَا تَمْشِ فِي الْأَرْضِ مَرَحًا ۖ إِنَّكَ لَنْ تَخْرِقَ الْأَرْضَ وَلَنْ تَبْلُغَ الْجِبَالَ طُولًا

Sahih International


(17:37) And do not walk upon the earth exultantly. Indeed, you will never tear the earth [apart], and you will never reach the mountains in height.

Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan,


(17:37) And walk not on the earth with conceit and arrogance. Verily, you can neither rend nor penetrate the earth, nor can you attain a stature like the mountains in height.

(17:37) And walk not in the earth exultant. Lo! thou canst not rend the earth, nor canst thou stretch to the height of the hills.

Abdullah Yusuf Ali


(17:37) Nor walk on the earth with insolence: for thou canst not rend the earth asunder, nor reach the mountains in height.
