Sahih International


(30:32) [Or] of those who have divided their religion and become sects, every faction rejoicing in what it has.

Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan,


(30:32) Of those who split up their religion (i.e. who left the true Islamic Monotheism), and became sects, [i.e. they invented new things in the religion (Bid'ah), and followed their vain desires], each sect rejoicing in that which is with it.

(30:32) Of those who split up their religion and became schismatics, each sect exulting in its tenets.
