لِيَكْفُرُوا بِمَا آتَيْنَاهُمْ ۚ فَتَمَتَّعُوا فَسَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ

Quran surah Ar Rum 34 in english translation

Sahih International

(30:34) So that they will deny what We have granted them. Then enjoy yourselves, for you are going to know.

Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan,

(30:34) So as to be ungrateful for the graces which We have bestowed on them. Then enjoy (your short life); but you will come to know.

Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall

(30:34) So as to disbelieve in that which We have given them. (Unto such it is said): Enjoy yourselves awhile, but ye will come to know.

Abdullah Yusuf Ali

(30:34) (As if) to show their ingratitude for the (favours) We have bestowed on them! Then enjoy (your brief day); but soon will ye know (your folly).

Mohammad Habib Shakir

(30:34) So as to be ungrateful for what We have given them; but enjoy yourselves (for a while), for you shall soon come to know.

(30:34) So as to disbelieve in what We have brought them. So take your enjoyment; then you will eventually know.

(30:34) Thus (do they behave) with disbelieving ingratitude for all that We have granted them. Then: Enjoy (for a while the worldly favors He has granted you), but in time you will come to know!

(30:34) With the result that they show ingratitude for what We have given them. So (you ungrateful people,) enjoy yourselves (for a while) but shortly you will come to know (the consequences).

(30:34) To disbelieve with what We gave/brought them, so live long/enjoy, so you will/shall know.

(30:34) So as to deny what We have given them. Please yourselves for a time; you will come to know soon.
