قَالُوا إِنَّكُمْ كُنْتُمْ تَأْتُونَنَا عَنِ الْيَمِينِ

Quran surah As Saffat 28 in english translation

Sahih International

(37:28) They will say, "Indeed, you used to come at us from the right."

Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan,

(37:28) They will say: "It was you who used to come to us from the right side [i.e. from the right side of one of us and beautify for us every evil, order us for polytheism, and stop us from the truth i.e. Islamic Monotheism and from every good deed]."

Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall

(37:28) They say: Lo! ye used to come unto us, imposing, (swearing that ye spoke the truth).

Abdullah Yusuf Ali

(37:28) They will say: "It was ye who used to come to us from the right hand (of power and authority)!"

Mohammad Habib Shakir

(37:28) They shall say: Surely you used to come to us from the right side.

Dr. Ghali

(37:28) They (The seduced) say, "Surely you used to come up to us from the right hand." (i.e. with the Truth).
