لَا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ نَصْرَهُمْ وَهُمْ لَهُمْ جُنْدٌ مُحْضَرُونَ

Sahih International

(36:75) They are not able to help them, and they [themselves] are for them soldiers in attendance.

Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan,

(36:75) They cannot help them, but they will be brought forward as a troop against those who worshipped them (at the time of Reckoning).

Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall

(36:75) It is not in their power to help them; but they (the worshippers) are unto them a host in arms.

Abdullah Yusuf Ali

(36:75) They have not the power to help them: but they will be brought up (before Our Judgment-seat) as a troop (to be condemned).

Mohammad Habib Shakir

(36:75) (But) they shall not be able to assist them, and they shall be a host brought up before them.

Dr. Ghali

(36:75) They are unable to vindicate them, (though) they (The disbelievers) be hosts (readily) presented to them.

(36:75) They (the false deities) are unable to help them; rather, they (the worshippers) are a (supportive) host for them (the false deities, and all will be arraigned for punishment on the Day of Judgment).

(36:75) These (false gods) are not capable of helping them. On the contrary these (gods) will (turn out for them to) be a host (of rebels) brought (before the Almighty to receive their due punishment).

(36:75) They are not being able (of) giving them victory/aiding them, and they are for them soldiers/warriors being made to be present/attend.
