الَّذِينَ يَسْتَحِبُّونَ الْحَيَاةَ الدُّنْيَا عَلَى الْآخِرَةِ وَيَصُدُّونَ عَنْ سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ وَيَبْغُونَهَا عِوَجًا ۚ أُولَٰئِكَ فِي ضَلَالٍ بَعِيدٍ

Sahih International

(14:3) The ones who prefer the worldly life over the Hereafter and avert [people] from the way of Allah, seeking to make it (seem) deviant. Those are in extreme error.

Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan,

(14:3) Those who prefer the life of this world instead of the Hereafter, and hinder (men) from the Path of Allah (i.e. Islam) and seek crookedness therein - They are far astray.

Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall

(14:3) Those who love the life of the world more than the Hereafter, and debar (men) from the way of Allah and would have it crooked: such are far astray.

Abdullah Yusuf Ali

(14:3) Those who love the life of this world more than the Hereafter, who hinder (men) from the Path of Allah and seek therein something crooked: they are astray by a long distance.

Mohammad Habib Shakir

(14:3) (To) those who love this world's life more than the hereafter, and turn away from Allah's path and desire to make it crooked; these are in a great error.

(14:3) The ones who (show) love for the present life (Literally: the lowly life, i.e; the life of this world) over the Hereafter, and bar from the way of Allah, and inequitably seek to make it crooked, those are in far error.

(14:3) They choose the present, worldly life in preference to the Hereafter and bar (people) from God’s way, and seek to make it appear crooked – those have indeed gone far astray.

(14:3) Such as prefer the present life to the Hereafter, and forsake the path of Allâh and hinder (the people) from it, and try to paint it as crooked, seeking to undertake it by remaining crooked. It is these who have gone far off in error.

Literal

(14:3) Those who love/like (prefer) the life the present/worldly life over the end (other life), and they obstruct/prevent from God`s way/path and they desire it (be) bent/crookedness , those are in distant/far misguidance.

(14:3) Those who hold the life of this world dearer than that of the next, who obstruct the path of God and seek obliquity in it, have wandered far into error.

(14:3) such as prefer the present life over the world to come, and bar from God's way, desiring to make it crooked -- they are in far error.
