وَقَالَ قَرِينُهُ هَٰذَا مَا لَدَيَّ عَتِيدٌ

Quran surah Qaf 23 in english translation

Sahih International

(50:23) And his companion, [the angel], will say, "This [record] is what is with me, prepared."

Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan,

(50:23) And his companion (angel) will say: "Here is (this Record) ready with me!"

Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall

(50:23) And (unto the evil-doer) his comrade saith: This is that which I have ready (as testimony).

Abdullah Yusuf Ali

(50:23) And his Companion will say: "Here is (his Record) ready with me!"

Mohammad Habib Shakir

(50:23) And his companions shall say: This is what is ready with me.

Dr. Ghali

(50:23) And his comrade will say, "This is what is closely kept with me constantly ready."

(50:23) And the one (the witnessing angel) who accompanies him says: "This is (his record) that I keep ready with me."
