وَقَوْمَ نُوحٍ مِنْ قَبْلُ ۖ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا قَوْمًا فَاسِقِينَ

Quran surah Az Zariyat 46 in english translation

Sahih International

(51:46) And [We destroyed] the people of Noah before; indeed, they were a people defiantly disobedient.

Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan,

(51:46) (So were) the people of Nuh (Noah) before them. Verily, they were a people who were Fasiqun (rebellious, disobedient to Allah).

Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall

(51:46) And the folk of Noah aforetime. Lo! they were licentious folk.

Abdullah Yusuf Ali

(51:46) So were the People of Noah before them for they wickedly transgressed.
