بَلْ قُلُوبُهُمْ فِي غَمْرَةٍ مِنْ هَٰذَا وَلَهُمْ أَعْمَالٌ مِنْ دُونِ ذَٰلِكَ هُمْ لَهَا عَامِلُونَ

Sahih International

(23:63) But their hearts are covered with confusion over this, and they have [evil] deeds besides disbelief which they are doing,

Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan,

(23:63) Nay, but their hearts are covered (blind) from understanding this (the Quran), and they have other (evil) deeds, besides, which they are doing.

Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall

(23:63) Nay, but their hearts are in ignorance of this (Qur'an), and they have other works, besides, which they are doing;

Abdullah Yusuf Ali

(23:63) But their hearts are in confused ignorance of this; and there are, besides that, deeds of theirs, which they will (continue) to do,-

Mohammad Habib Shakir

(23:63) Nay, their hearts are in overwhelming ignorance with respect to it and they have besides this other deeds which they do.

(23:63) No indeed, (but) their hearts are in perplexity as to this, and they have deeds other than that (even lesser than that) that they are doing.

(23:63) The fact is that the hearts of those unbelievers are utterly ignorant and heedless of all this, and apart from this, they have some evil deeds that they habitually commit (which prevent them from seeing and accepting the truth),

(23:63) Nay, their (- the disbelievers´) minds are in utter confusion (due to ignorance) about this (Qur´ân), and they are (engrossed) in deeds different from the (bindings of) revelations and they go on doing them.
