فَإِنَّ لِلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا ذَنُوبًا مِثْلَ ذَنُوبِ أَصْحَابِهِمْ فَلَا يَسْتَعْجِلُونِ

Quran surah Az Zariyat 59 in english translation

Sahih International

(51:59) And indeed, for those who have wronged is a portion [of punishment] like the portion of their predecessors, so let them not impatiently urge Me.

Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan,

(51:59) And verily, for those who do wrong, there is a portion of torment like to the evil portion of torment (which came for) their likes (of old), so let them not ask Me to hasten on!

Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall

(51:59) And lo! for those who (now) do wrong there is an evil day like unto the evil day (which came for) their likes (of old); so let them not ask Me to hasten on (that day).

Abdullah Yusuf Ali

(51:59) For the Wrong-doers, their portion is like unto the portion of their fellows (of earlier generations): then let them not ask Me to hasten (that portion)!

Mohammad Habib Shakir

(51:59) So surely those who are unjust shall have a portion like the portion of their companions, therefore let them not ask Me to hasten on.

Dr. Ghali

(51:59) Then surely the ones who did injustice will have an allotment like the allotment of their companions; so let them not seek to hasten Me!

(51:59) So surely those who commit the greatest wrong (namely, not believing in and worshipping God or associating partners with Him in worship), will have their share (of the punishment) like the share of their fellows (of old who were destroyed). Then, let them not ask Me to hasten it.

(51:59) Those who do injustice (to Our Messengers) should meet the fate (of miseries) like the fate of their fellows (of old). Therefore do not let them ask Me to hasten on (the punishment which awaits them).

(51:59) So that to those who were unjust/oppressive (are) crimes, equal/alike (to) their company`s/friends` crimes, so do not hurry/hasten Me .386

(51:59) Those who do wrong will indeed come to the same end as their fellows (of old). So let them not ask Me to hasten (the punishment).
